Is a one-trip container the same as a new container?
Almost. It was built new and has made one journey, so it can show minor signs of handling.
Structurally and functionally, it's in near-new condition. A container that has never made a trip is rarely available in North America, because shipping it empty from the factory costs more than sending it with cargo.
